Big Brothers Big Sisters-Mississippi Valley-  Mentoring Program is now enrolling children for the 2011-2012 school year!  Children between 6 and 15 with a college volunteer for one year!  For more information call 309-837-5437

Fesitval of Trees-
 Businesses and organizations from around the community are invited to put together a tree for the event.  The Trees will be displayed at the Armoury Thursday, December 1st from 5pm-9pm.  On December 2nd all trees will be available through a silent auction.  All proceeds will go to the businesses or organization local non-profit of choice.


Jamieson Center

  Need help with heating bills? The Energy Assistance Foundation may be able to help.  The foundation helps moderate-income families with heating and cooling bills through the Warm Neighbors Cool Friends program.  To apply for assistance, contact the Jamieson Center at 309-734-4251 beginning Jan. 1st, 2011.

Roseville Kids Place- 

 RKP is sponsoring  "Home for The Holidays" on December 4th from 1pm-4pm in Roseville!  Christmas tours of Homes.  Tickets $10

RKP currently has openings in all the classrooms: the age range is from 6 weeks to 12 years old!  Call Sheila Still at 309-426-1991 for more information. 

Come check out RKP's "Hand-A-Long Boutique"  Tues and Thurs. 2-5pm and Weds. 10-12pm.  If those ours don't work call RKP to make an appointment!  The botique is located in the East Wing of the Roseville Community Center


 
RSVP- 

RVSP Tutoring Program- RSVP is teaming up with the M-R school district to launch a new tutoring program.  They are looking for tutors of all ages to tutor children.  Training will be provided and will cover basic tutoring principles and practices. 

Initial Training sessions will start Wednesday September 28th at Lincoln school in the Library and Friday September 30th. Also, Wednesday October 12th in the 1st Street Armoury Training Room. All sessions are from 9am-12pm.  Additional sessions will be scheduled as needed.

Warren County Historical Museum-  New hours! The museum will be open the 1st Sunday of every month May-December!! Call the museum for more information!  734-2116
