Warren County United Way is accepting applications for the Helen Bersted Memorial Grant from any non-profit organization who has served the Warren County community for three or more years. Grant awards normally range between $1,000 and $3,000. Funds for the Helen Bersted Memorial Grant are possible through the Len G. Everett Endowment.
The Helen Bersted Memorial Grant was established in 2015 to honor the life and legacy of Warren County United Way's first, and long-time executive director, Helen Bersted. Bersted's work in this community has left an incredible mark. As one of the founding members of both Warren County United Way and Warren Achievement Center, her dedication and inspiration continues to provide service to thousands in Warren County every year.
Eligibility: Any non-profit serving Warren County community residents that has been in existence for 3 or more years. New applicants may be required to provide additional information.
Average award: $1,000-$3,000
Grant period: One year
Grant type: Capacity grant; any applications outside the realm of capacity building will not be reviewed.
Due to increased community need, as well the increase of grant applications, awards will be competitive this year.
